360Hero Captures Everything Around You

May 29, 2013 By John P.

Streaming Across America 2013

The time is drawing near for our annual road trip to CE Week in New York, a little adventure we call Streaming Across America. Check out our map and let us know what we shouldn’t miss along the way!

Getting the WHOLE picture with 360Hero

The 360Hero is a special camera mount that allows you to fit it with 6-7 GoPro Hero cameras and then capture an entire environment in a sphere around the cameras.

Talk Mobile 2013 Brings Something for All Phones

If you love a mobile phone – ANY mobile phone – you’re going to want to keep an eye out for a special project we did with the folks at Mobile Nations called Talk Mobile 2013.

Watch us Work

We’ve set up several Dropcams around the Livid Lobster studios so you can help us figure out what’s going on here.

Massive Unboxing

What’s in the giant box that was delivered to us? It’s an awesome (and huge) photo printer, the HP z3200ps!

Love the show but have you ever wondered why HP sent the printer in such a large box….. I have had to put together a couple of large scale HP printers before (A true cardboard unboxing) and it is not an easy processes. In fact some dealers recommend that they come and help set it up. For fun if you ever review one of these again film a true unboxing of a large scale HP printer…… you might want to do it with time lapse, unless you want the longest ever episode of Geek Beat… But I have to say they are fantastic printers and despite the challenge of putting units together would always recommend them.

Thanks for the insight Chris! 🙂 In this case I think they sent it in the crate because they don’t have many loaners due to cost, so its way cheaper to reuse the same one over and over. But it sure is nice that we didn’t have to go through the pain of building it! Heck, just the weight alone would make it a challenge to assemble! 🙂
