Hulu plus, is that unlimited content? if so, yes I’d go for it. Well, I have to buy something to replace my stolen Flip, so maybe I’ll look into the GE-DV1, my insurance company has already cut a check for the full amount, YAY!!! Rainmaker, I don’t know, I’m shy enough on fb and twitter with my silly gangley mug, maybe though!!! I *like* the idea of the Geek History App, I could add a few innovations I came up with for my company to the site for *future history*, you can I do that?
Great show, love your tunic shirt BTW, it’s plad, my favorite color… “B”
I am an avid TV watcher – I reduced my cable subscription to limited basic because I feel cable TV is overpriced, so yes, I would gladly pay the $10 a month for HULU Plus – even with commercials
I have a TiVo HD XL – and the Original ROKU Box – I checked with ROKU and TiVo – TiVo will be putting HULU on their premiere box – but what about their older boxes? My HD XL does streaming from the internet – TiVo seems to come out with a new box every year – they love their new subscribers – but their existing customers – they do very little, if any, software updates to older boxes, and put all the new features and updates on their latest box .. A true lack of customer appreciation…
ROKU on the other hand has 3 new boxes as you shown on your show. I verified with their tech support, when they put on HULU Plus – it will go on ALL Boxes – even their original one… they care about customer satisfaction – they are not forcing people to buy their new boxes to get all the good updates. TiVo – well it is becoming more and more like a CABLE TV provider – it does what it wants – because they feel they can… I believe that is slowly coming to an end for Cable Providers and will for TiVo eventually…
I predict in another 5 years or so – streaming content will be competing with broadcast Sitcoms and Dramas – who says you couldn’t produce a show like “Lost” and stream a new episode each week?
Sorry – I just had to vent my frustration with TiVo and the Cable Providers…
