Their Amazon Prime program, which provides unlimited 2-day shipping, access to a library of streaming videos and the ability to “borrow” certain Kindle books for free is normally $79 per year. But now customers can opt for a $7.99 per month charge, if the lump sum is too big a hit on the monthly budget. Yes, it comes out to more in a year (almost $17 more), but on a monthly basis it might be more manageable. And what better time to have some budget-priced shipping than in the next couple of months?
