CES 2013 – Fingernail Printing with Tat’z Nail’z

Tat’z Nail’z is a system that brings modern printing technology into the nail salon. Any image or photo can be loaded into the system through a camera in front, or USB port in the back, and then be printed on a customer’s fingernails. The printer uses HP cartridges that can do 10,000 nail prints each. The machine comes with 30,000 images preinstalled.

Their website claims to be the worlds first, however the Lexmark based barbie nail printer my daughter has had for 2+ years would disagree?

Cool I guess. Ummm she’s so cute I think she could do my nails, face & blond streaks in my hair if she wanted!!! ;-) “B”

  3. Peter Trussell says:

John do you think this could be used to print ocr codes on the fingernails as part of id system? It looks like it could be a wearable and could be able to be changed on the fly as opposed to fingerprints.

  4. John P. says:

That’s an interesting idea Peter! Yes it could be used for that, because you can load any image into it that you want and it will print that on the finger.
