In the world of portable Bluetooth speakers, Braven is definitely shaping up as a company to watch. You guys know that Cali and I carry Braven Six Series speakers in our gadget bags when we travel. And the company is moving beyond the Six Series with some extremely ruggedized and waterproof speakers in the form of the BRV-1 (named after “Battle Ready Vehicles”), and the awesomely powerful 850 which is four times bigger than the Six Series and delivers four times more sound.
Nice speakers, very cool looking!!! I’d love the speakerphone feature, great for biz conference calls on the fly. The mounted transit controls are a real plus. Deep sound is what I need in a speaker like this, but John how is the separation? Compact units like these tend not to have good separation unless they have some kind of Surround function built in… “B”
