Episode #500 – Best and Worst of GeekBeat TV

Skydiving with the Golden Knights

There are few experiences more memorable than falling out of an airplane so of course we took you all along.

Experiencing Tokyo

It was so great to visit Tokyo earlier this year, and we loved showing you what we found.

Cali Kisses a Fish

In Seattle, I caught (and kissed) a flying fish.

Flying on Awesome Airliners

We got to go on the delivery flight of a new 737, and got to check out a 787 while in Japan.

WiFi Installation in a Plane

On the subject of airliners, we also got to go behind the scene to see how WiFi is installed in a plane.

Cali Wears an iPhone

At Macworld 2011, I found myself wearing a working iPhone.

Pounding Nails Into Brian Brushwood

When Brian Brushwood visited the studio, we had to try the “nail pounded into the nose” trick.

Fire in a Bottle

John is always on the lookout for dangerous activities, so turning a water bottle into a flamethrower was perfect.

Exploding SodaStream

Not to be outdone, I found a way to make a SodaStream machine explode.

Visiting DreamWorks Animation

We went Hollywood with a visit to the DreamWorks Animation studios.

Real-Life Angry Birds

To mark the 2nd Birthday of Angry Birds, John and I played a full-scale game of it in the parking lot.

John’s F-Bomb

While I was on vacation, we learned that John will read whatever’s on the teleprompter.

Off the Grid with Ed Begley, Jr.

We talked to Ed Begley, Jr. about how people can become more energy independent

The Killer Orgasm

And an episode John and I both agreed should be here – we just can’t agree on whether it’s a “best” or “worst”!

  1. says

I was surprised that I was in attendance for both a best and a worst moment: OpenCamp skydiving and Seattle Market fish market. Though, really.. they’re all good moments.

Still, I want to see John set himself on fire. :)

  2. says

How did I miss the angry birds competition before? I went through the link and watched it – love it!
    Congrats on your 500 episodes!
