iOS 6 – The Good and the Bad

Apple’s new mobile OS has arrived, bringing some nice features like greater Facebook integration and easy panoramic photos, but at the cost of the excellent Google-based Maps app. User response on the new Apple Maps app is definitely looking unfavorable at the moment. The new iOS also brings with it the Passbook feature, which is supposed to be step toward an electronic wallet, but so far is under-populated and painful to set up.

Google Apps to End IE 8 Support

If you use Google Apps through Internet Explorer 8, you may need to take some action. Google is discontinuing support for that browser version, while offering the option of a Chrome plug-in for Internet Explorer that will allow you continued access to Google Apps.

New Mobile Twitter Apps

Twitter has released a new version of their mobile app for both iOS and Android, with a distinctly Google+ feel to it.

      There is a you tube app in the App Store that google just put out.
