They say the best camera is the one you have with you. For most people that means their phone. And while we are getting more accustomed to keeping our photos all-digital, there are still some that seem to need printing. Can’t have bare refrigerators, can we? Unfortunately the process of getting a photo from the phone, to a computer, then to a printer can be a little labored and the task will frequently get put off. A new answer to that problem is the Bolle BP-10 Photo Printer. It’s a 4″ x 6″ photo printer with an iPhone dock on the top, and it’s compatible with all generations of iPhone from the original to the iPhone 4. To use it you’ll need to download Bolle’s free app from the App Store. Along with simple printing, the app allows you to select and print multiple shots on a single piece of photo paper, or multiples of the same shot.
Of course, the bad news for Bolle is that this seems to be arriving a bit late as Air Print tends to make an extra piece of hardware like this unnecessary. But, if you’re looking for another option, you can pick up a BP-10 for £119.99, or about $192 US at MobleFun.co.uk.

Now this is a good idea, I don’t have an iPhone, but I love this concept & it gives me an idea for my mom & those who don’t know how to use a computer & printer. As *my* mom still uses a 35mm silver film camera, I would love to buy her a digital for X-Mass. Guys, do you know of a *simple* digital camera with a simple printer add-on for those technology non-savvy relatives of ours? Do you think this may make a good topic for a show? “B”
