Crazy-complex LEGO constructions are fast becoming a regular part of geek life. And Star Wars is a popular subject, but this one goes one step beyond. To promote the release of The Phantom Menace in 3D in Germany, professional LEGO builder Rene Hoffmeister was hired to create this giant street organ covered with LEGO dioramas. As the drum is turned, parts of the scenes brush against keys to play the Star Wars theme. Worlds depicted include Tattooine, Hoth, the Death Star, and the Wookie planet of Kashyyyk. The organ toured around various German cinemas and will find a final display location at Legoland Germany.
