The iPad mini has found its physical keyboard with the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard mini. In the same style as the previous Ultrathin Keyboard for the full-sized iPad, the mini version gives a physical keyboard for tactile touch typing, while doubling as a case to to protect the face of your device while it’s not in use. The iPad snaps onto a magnetic hinge in the back of the keyboard for folding closed, and sets into a slot above the keys for typing.
Connection is by Bluetooth and the keyboard has a battery life of up to 3 months, based on an average use of two hours per day. It comes in black or white, to match the iPad mini and has a thickness of 7.3mm.
Availability is expected in Europe and the U.S this month for a price of $79.99.
