Advertising to the Skies with QR Code Island Concept

Mat Barnes and Eddie Blake of C.A.N. collaborated together to create a miniature 1:87 scale model of a concept island that forms a QR code.  This island can be read by a smartphone as a QR code when viewed from above. The concept of this QR island has potential to be a geeky yet aesthetically appealing advertisement can be viewed from great heights. Of course this leads to new potentials, such as a city block with buildings as QR code!

The code can only be read through the mirror. Here is the link to the mirrored view http://www.criticalarchitecturenetwork.com/big%20qr/qr%20island.jpg
