Thinking about a Chromebook? Or are you still wondering what you can do with a Chromebook? I was a skeptic, but after using the Acer C720 for a while, I’m a complete convert!

The price points on the C720 are great, starting at about $200. It’s very light and has ports for HDMI, USB 3.0, headphones, and it has an SD card slot. I’m using an external mouse on mine, because that works better for me than the touch pad.

I was amazed to realize that for 90% of what you do on a computer, a Chromebook will work just fine. Even if you don’t use it for a primary machine, it’s great to have as an extra machine with long battery life – maybe even as a loaner for when you have guests.

The C720P is the touch screen model. It runs about $100 more than the non touch screen C720. If you don’t mind a refurb, you can get the C720p for only $219 on Ebay from the official Acer outlet store. Shipping is free.
