The reason that you got good cell phone reception in SF it is due to a company my friend is partner in. Their company provides extension of cell cites in large building complexes and public spaces. They completed the BART/MUNI installation a couple of years ago. Just an FYI.

My brother in-law, like a lot of NYers tell me their used 2 no cell recpt. in the Sub Way stations, but there seams to be conflicting stories if cell service will be *on the moving trains* or not. Some say this may be a safety issue, as talking on phones will distract users too much, and raise cell phone thefts. I’m not yet a Drobo owner, but the DroboPro FS will reside here when I do, and I really like the new sync feature, terrific!!! The robo-suit for kids , R U kidding??? I saw a kid ka-nabbing people’s kabosses with a Mars Grabber toy on the streets once, imagine what they’d do with this suit ;-). Eliminating brain tumors with lasers is cool, I happen to have 2 of them in MY head, one I call cell company “A” the other cell comp. “V”, both completely immune to lasers. But nice idea, I know it will work out well for those really effected by tumors… Great show, I just love all your “T” shirts BTW, you should do a show dedicated to them all some day… “B”

Hi there Cali , service in NY breaks when i am half way down the stairs, so service down there will be a blessing, also either Blackberry 9700 and iPhone 4 will take forever to find the network once im back in the surface. Cheers!

I am in NYC every month and you get NO reception when you get underground for the subway. It’s shocking how quickly the reception dies. I REALLY love the show.

Cali, you where mention wireless on the New York subway station’s.
Well yes we have no reception at all once you go down the stairs in the subway. Sometimes if you are lucky in certain stations and specific spots of those stations, the waves make their way to the underground.
We have been waiting for such a long time that by now is not good news anymore.
Now a good news will be having a cleaner subway stations, better and more reliable service, and a halt to increase of the fares.
I guess for the Homeless in the City, and the rats that are in the subway stations and track’s this will be good news, so now they can use their’s I-phones or I-pads in the subway station 😉
