    Hi!

Love GeekBeat, but your news story on the baby “cured” of HIV was factually incorrect:

    – The baby was administered an antiretroviral regimen, not a retrovirus (that’s what she was infected with)
    – The toddler does not no longer test HIV positive. She still has antibodies, but does not have a detectable viral load (in fact there is still detectable virus in her blood, but it does not appear to be viable, able to replicate or in significant numbers

This story remains hotly debated, but it’s probably important to check out medical stories for accuracy before you broadcast them.

    Best wishes.

    Nige.

Thanks for the update, Nigel! To my knowledge, we were on target with the facts, but we obviously missed some stuff! 🙂

Changing the DMCA and copyright law is not something that our Dear Dictator can or should do through Executive Order. It requires Congress to change or modify the existing laws as per our Constitution.
