#CESlive: NewTek’s TV Truck in a Box

Friend of Geek Beat Philip Nelson dropped by the CESlive Booth to talk to Cali and Kevin about NewTek’s latest. We are running the TriCaster 860. It’s a TV truck in a box that can be used by a single operator. Designed to be be powerful, but easy to use and affordable, it’s priced at $5,000-$40,000. They are designed to operate similarly to make it easy to move up. TriCaster clients do 60,000 hours of video a week. NewTek started in 1985 with Video Toaster and their founder basically predicted internet television.
