Some of Our Current Favorite Gadgets

LithiumCard

This is an Indiegogo project that’s blown past its $30K goal – it’s already at $113K with 13 days to go! This cool little 1200mAh battery sticks onto the back of your phone (without adhesives). It won’t give you a full charge, but it’s great for an emergency backup.

Luxa2 GroovyT Speaker

A portable speaker that uses no cables, Wi-Fi, nor Bluetooth? What sorcery is this? It really does seem like magic. You just set your phone on top of the GroovyT speaker and their awesome inductive technology grabs the sound and the speaker amplifies it. It’s got an 800mA battery for 5 hours of listening time.

Luxa2 GroovyW Speaker

The GroovyT’s big brother is the GroovyW. It’s a speaker that packs Bluetooth, NFC, and speakerphone capability in its compact case. This thing can get LOUD and still sound great. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, the GroovyW trots out its wireless charging base! We love it!

Luxa2 EnerG Battery

And to top off the outstanding products from Luxa2 we have this very attractive little 8800 mA battery, great for charging in style.

Acer Aspire R7

I continue to LOVE the Acer Aspire R7 convertible laptop! It’s got a great design and the killer feature is the stylus, which makes drawing with it a pure pleasure.

SmudgeGuard

And when you’re drawing on a touchscreen like the one on the R7, the process is made MUCH easier with this funny little two-fingered glove called a SmudgeGuard. No more screen smudges, and it moves very smoothly across the glass when you’re drawing, while keeping your hand from making any unintended marks.

Rack Studs

Our final cool toy of the week will appeal to people in data centers. Rack Studs make rack mounting servers SO much easier. Now if we could get rack makers to actually follow the mounting hole standards.

I really love this video! I immediately went out to see if I could find the Luxa2 GroovyT Speaker. The only thing is I can’t figure out where to buy it. They don’t have a shop on their web site. I can’t find it on Amazon.
