Dr. Cool is an Adaptable Cooler for Routers (and Other Toasty Components)

April 28, 2011 by giovanni

Dr Cool Router Cooler
Like everything else electronic, routers can get pretty hot. And hot electronics tend to get flakey and have lives shorter than necessary. If you’re worrying about your router becoming an unplanned hotplate, Evercool has a solution for you.

The Dr. Cool is a hardware cooler made specifically for routers, switches and all those other little boxes that bind your network together. The device is designed with slide-out arms that grip your router, allowing for attachment to most makes models, and shapes. This adaptability actually would allow the cooler to be used on a variety of other heat-prone things such as external hard drives as well. Power is supplied by either an AC adapter or a USB port. No indication of pricing as yet.
