Earity is launching a Indiegogo campaign for what it calls the world’s first voice controlled earbud. The Earity works using simple voice commands that keep your focus and hands on driving your vehicle. The company claims that use of its product will decrease the likelihood of distracted driving. The product also features outstanding battery life to make sure it works when you need it to. Earity is looking for $50,000 to help make the product a reality. The campaign ends November 17th.

Earity, The First Voice Controlled Wireless Earbud, Launches Crowdfunding Campaign on IndieGoGo In Effort To Curb Traffic Accidents
New York (October 11,2014) – Earity, the brainchild of a team of Ukrainian entrepreneurs, is launching a crowdfunding campaign on October 14, aiming to raise $50,000. The earbud is wirelessly connected to a music player or a smartphone and can be controlled by the user’s voice.
The Earity technology was created in an effort to reduce the number of traffic accidents and fatalities caused by cell phone use while driving. Rarity will use the funds raised to bring the product to market.
At any given time during daylight hours, 660,000 drivers in the United States use cell phones, increasing the likelihood of fatal crashes by 400%. Every 30 seconds an American gets in a car accident related to distracted driving.
Earity will significantly reduce the risk. The tiny headphone sits comfortably in an ear and doesn’t create destruction. It notifies the wearer of an incoming call by telling the name of the person calling. The user can answer the call or ignore it.
The device offers twenty days battery life, making it one of the most reliable products on the market. A stylish small capsule provides a combination of a storage space and a charger.
“We wanted to create the coolest, best-sounding, lightest wireless earphone you’ve ever worn. With Earity, you can expect crystal clear, ground shaking audio quality, voice commands and long-lasting battery life.” Said Maksym Vysochanskiy, one of the inventors of the device.
Crowdfunding has become the premiere venue for entrepreneurs to raise money for their dream projects and for early adopters to find and support innovative products. Technology projects are a big part of the movement: almost 2,000 Kickstarter campaigns have successfully raised more than $172 million over last five years.
The prototype of Earity is tested and ready. Now, the team is raising money for the mass production and promises to deliver the device to the IndieGoGo backers in January, to make New Year’s fitness resolutions more fun to reach with energizing music and phone calls – less destructive.
Early supporters will have an opportunity to pre-order the product on IndieGoGo for $79, a savings of $70 from the future retail price.
