Exploring the Future of High Tech Glass

February 27, 2011 by Wen Duan

Specializing in glass and ceramics, Corning made this video called A Day of Glass. It explores the possibility of glass integrated into our everyday technology, including but not limited to mirrors, stove tops, phones, and interactive surfaces. I, for one, cannot wait for some of this technology become a part of everyday life!

I think is this might be Google’s next acquisition in the foreseeable future. It only makes sense for a company now know as Googorola, to step up and buy Corning the future of communication. With Bluetooth technology, this could become a reality over night. Not to mention the way in which wireless technology is heading. LTE Advanced technology is in almost every communication product within the market place. All of this can come true within the next 5 years…or less.
