GeekBeat LIVE Giveaway – Powered by ZOMM!

April 22, 2011 by Mark Zamora

As you may have heard on the latest episode of GeekBeat LIVE, we have partnered up with the great people at ZOMM all month to bring you guys yet another chance at winning awesome stuff!

If you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t heard about these amazing gadgets, then allow Cali to tell you all about it right here!

So let’s get into the nitty-gritty details! Here’s what you have to do in order to win one of many ZOMMs that we will be giving away throughout the month of April:

Week 1: “My ZOMM goes Tweet-Tweet!”
We’ll be giving away 3 ZOMMs EVERY week, starting this Friday on Geek Beat LIVE at 4 PM EDT / 8 PM GMT.
All you’ll have to do is tune in as we give you the details on the show! It’s a Twitter giveaway, so get those ReTweet muscles ready!

Now, the weeks ahead require a little more effort so here are the details:
Please note that you can start entering for any of these RIGHT NOW! Have fun! 😉

  • Week 2: “If Only I Had a ZOMM!” on YouTube
    • To participate, post a YouTube video response on one of the GeekBeat.TV episodes telling us about a time you wished you had a ZOMM! It could be about a time you lost your phone or even a time you pranked someone else by hiding their phone! (Hey, it’s called APRIL Fools, not April 1st Fools!) GET CREATIVE! We’ll pick the winners for this portion of the contest in conjunction with the next part on April 22, 2011 during the LIVE show.
  • Week 3: “Attack of the Facebook ZOMMbies!”
    • This one is a little easier! All you have to do is post on the Livid Lobster Facebook wall! It could say anything you’d like. Do you love the show? Let us know! Be nice though! That Livid Lobster can get pretty cranky! Make sure to mention the ZOMM! These winners will be announced LIVE on April 22, 2011
UPDATE: Weeks 1, 2 and 3 are OVER!

  • Week 4: “Om-Nom-ZOMM!”
    • If you don’t win by Week 4, then fear not! This is your last chance to win! Not only are you entered for the final week by completing one of the above, but you are free to get even more creative! Post a funny ZOMM related picture or story on the Livid Lobster Facebook wall! Record a skit and leave a video response on YouTube! Tweet the Livid Lobster with the hashtag #GeekBeatZOMM! Any of these things will get you an entry into the contest! The final set of ZOMM winners will be announced on April 29, 2011.

Here’s to hoping you have a lot of fun in your pursuits to win a ZOMM. It’s a great device and I’m looking forward to giving you guys some!

Just some quick rules:

This contest is for residents of North America ONLY! Sorry Over-Seas geeks!
You can enter all 4 contests if you want! That means MORE chances for you winning! If you haven’t won by Week 4, then all your entries become cumulative! That’s right! MULTIPLE ENTRIES! Go crazy!

See you this and every Friday for Geek Beat LIVE!
Later days!
