GM Aerodynamics Lab
Cali and John are schooled and guided on the theories behind the ground-aerodynamics in the GM wind-tunnel lab. Everything is important, from the shape and size of the room to the speed at which air hits the floors and walls. They were also shown what preventive measures are taken to ensure entirely accurate results.
A Dark Tunnel
GM shows off the tunnel that makes up their wind-tunnel. Due to space limitations, they use curving pieces to make the air swoop around with no loss of speed.
Cali’s Biggest Fan
They finally meet the huge fan that makes the wind in GM’s WindTunnel. Don’t worry while walking through the fan, it requires special keys that their tour guide happen to be in possession of. The fan is made of spruce and balsa. It’s 43 feet in diameter.
But wait, there’s more!
