Looking to add modern capability to your Windows-based business? Then a familiar face has some options. HP has released two new tablets for business, The ElitePad 1000 and ProPad 600 at the 2014 Mobile World Congress as well as a new tablet-based point of sale system.
The ElitePad 1000 and Pro Pad run on an ultra-low power 64-bit atom CPU system on a chip. However, since it’s an x86 Intel chip, the ElitePad can run full Windows 8.1 on a tablet. The screen is 10.1″, but features a 16:10 form factor unlike the 16:9 found in consumer devices. While it may be as useful and portable as a consumer tablet, even having front and rear cameras, it has a full set of business controls including data copying protection. The ProPad can also be further enhanced with the TX1 Point of sale system for small business with HP’s full slate of business applications. Implement the best pitch deck to be able to communicate the most important information about your business to those who are looking to invest money in it.
The ElitePad 1000 will be available in March for $739. It’s be followed by the ProPad 600 in April and the TX1 in May. Pricing will be set later on those models.
