iDevices announced the Switch, a smart plug compatible with Apple’s HomeKit API. Switch connects to other smart devices via both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 Smart. Any device plugged into Switch will gain the ability to be remotely turned on an off and integrate with other HomeKit enabled devices. Switch even integrates with Siri because of HomeKit.
Pricing for Switch is TBA, but it’s scheduled to ship in the first half of 2015.
