Ikan Fly-X3 Plus Smartphone Gimbal Stabilizer Unboxing

May 8, 2015 by John P.

We got our hands on the new Ikan Fly-X3 Smartphone Gimbal Stabilizer (Full review video coming soon) so we wanted to give you a glimpse at what comes in the box with this cool little stabilizer.

There is also a GoPro mount, so you can use the Fly-X3 as a GoPro handheld gimbal stabilizer as well.

The FLY-X3 Gimbal turns your smartphone into a powerful tool, shooting fluid smooth professional video and eliminating shaky camera moves. The unique 3 axis brushless motor gyro system uses sophisticated software to stabilize your camera. The FLY-X3 will do all the work to eliminate unwanted movements, creating smooth continuous shots and making pans, tilts and even walking shots appear to “Fly”. Other complicated steady rigs are difficult to balance but the FLY-X3 is easy to operate. After you load the batteries into the handle, you must tighten the bottom of the handle all the way in order for the unit to work. Then, simply place your smart phone in the cradle, level the FLY-X3 and your phone on a flat surface and turn it on. The FLY-X3 will calibrate its three axis motors and level the phone. Now you’re ready to shoot.

The FLY-X3 is compatible with most smart phones including the iphone, HTC, Samsung Galaxy 4 and others up to 3” width. This current model does not hold the iphone 6 Plus, however an updated version compatible with the iphone 6 Plus is in the works.
