100 Cats Roaming IKEA

September 10, 2010 by Vi Vu

What happens when 100 cats are let loose in an IKEA one night? They go absolutely everywhere and get talked about on the Internet. More than enough reason to have done it!

I have a sense of humor, but it was irresponsible to let 100 cats loose like that. Cats hate change and get much more nervous than dogs. They should not be thrown in with 99 other strange cats in a strange place. Thumbs down!!

This looks like something Adam and Joe would document and parody. I wonder how or why they didn’t get on this one.

If I was at that IKEA with all of those cats, I’d be in heaven and hell at the same time. I love those crazy kitties and those hot British men. The “hell” part for me is that I’m allergic to cats and I’d be too much of mess to enjoy all of the eye (& ear) candy.

Cats, cats, cats! Gotta love ’em! Surprisingly the majority of these cats seemed quite relaxed with not being in their own environment and amongst other cats and so many human strangers. Didn’t expect that. Very cool.

I just love cats, so independent, so self driven so totally cool, nothing like me, my customers own this goofy persona!!! If I came back as an animal, it would most certainly be a cat, I think the Siamese breed, because of their unique mysterious nature and historicity placed homage. Very cool piece, I have to see if theirs a full version of this idea. Cali, are you cat lover and or owner? “B”

This is the best piece of creative advertising I’ve seen in a while.
