Intel Previews Compute Stick HDMI Stick Computer at #CES2015

January 12, 2015 by Benjamin J. Roethig

intel-compute-stick
Intel has launched an interesting new device called the Compute Stick. It’s a full-featured Windows 8.1 or Linux Computer that plugs directly into your HDMI port on your TV or HDMI display. It features a quad core atom CPU, on board storage, and a MicroSD card slot for even more storage if you need it.

The Compute Stick will launch later in 2015 with full details coming later. That said, a PC with the power of a Windows tablet that can fit in your pocket is certainly interesting. Geek Beat will follow up when we get more details.
