Japan, here we come! Again.
Experiencing Tokyo, Japan
All Nippon Airways (ANA) took John P. and I to Tokyo last year to experience all the technology and gadgety goodness that Japan has to offer and we had so much fun! We got to fly in the new 787 Dreamliner. We learned they have the most awesome toilets there! I hung out with robots… even the Geminoid-F, a humanoid robot! We went behind the scenes at ANA’s Maintenance Hangar. That place is huge! And we learned about eco-friendly tech at Panasonic.
Tokyo was very different than we expected it to be, and we were thankful to get to share it with you guys.
The Other Side of Japan
As fun as Tokyo was, this year, we’re going to be seeing a completely different side of Japan!
This time, we’re hopping aboard ANA’s 777, where Okinawa is hosting us. I’m super excited to see Okinawa. From what I can tell before we get there, this trip will be VERY rich in culture and tradition, and full of awe-inspiring nature!
The town of Taketomi doesn’t allow cars, so we’ll be riding a Water Buffalo cart to get around.
This is gonna be fun!!
Join the Journey
I hope you’ll join us for all of the adventures. Our goal is to bring you guys along with us! So we’ll be sharing pictures and video on Google+, Twitter, Facebook and at geekbeat.tv/japan.
Be sure to tell us what you like and want to see. We’re there to show you a part of the world you may not have been yet, so you have to help us share the journey! 🙂 And if you have been there, we’ll be looking for your suggestions!
