The KEF LS50 features compact design with multi-dimensional soundstage experience thanks to the patent-pending acoustic design. They’re designed using the same technology as as the KEF Blades, with a casing that is effectively accoustically dead. The same type of nickle-on-top demonstration where playing the speaker really loud won’t disturb the coin at all will work fine with the new LS50s. They’re designed in such a way that while they’re not omnidirectional, they will still sound really good even if you place them relatively carelessly in a room. They’re available in black or white and start at about the $400 price range.
