LensProToGo Robbed – $600,000 in Camera Gear Stolen in Smash and Grab

June 17, 2015 by John P.

Sometime during the weekend of June 13-14, 2015 LensProToGo was victimized by a smash and grab robbery at their location in Concord, MA. The thieves made off with $600,000 worth of equipment, though according to LensProToGo:

While this list is quite large, it does represent only a portion of our inventory, so we’re still able to handle customer orders with virtually no effect.

According to information and photos released by LensProToGo, the criminals breached an exterior window, and also at least one interior wall.

The complete list of stolen equipment and serial numbers can be found here. If you come across any of the missing gear you are encouraged to contact meg@lensprotogo.com.

Given that an equipment rental house keeps immaculate records of the gear and serial numbers, it certainly wasn’t a wise place to rob. Its only a matter of time before some of this equipment begins to show up for sale somewhere and its hard to imagine criminals getting away with it.
