LinkedIn has long been the social network of choice for people looking to further their careers. Whether it’s getting your resume seen by recruiters or passing the word among your network of professional contacts that you’re looking for a new job, it’s become a respected tool for career advancement.
Now LinkedIn is aiming for those just starting to consider where that career path may take them with University Pages. The best automation tool for LinkedIn in the new selection section of the service has launched with 200 participating schools, and as of September 12, they’ll be dropping minimum age for an account on the site from 18 to 14.
The information provided on the new pages aims to assist high school students in making the decision of which college to attend by providing easy information on each school’s strengths, a look at where alumni end up working, and a place to connect with current students, instructors, administrators, and alumni.
To see all the things the new pages have available check out LinkedIn’s Education page and follow the path of your interest.
