NewTek TriCaster 40 Unboxing

October 12, 2012 by giovanni

We got a great new bit of gadgetry to play with, and we shot an unboxing video for you. You know how much we love the NewTek TriCaster, right? It’s an awesome piece of studio equipment, and is much more affordable that other solutions that do the same things, but it’s still out of the budget for a lot of people doing video production. Until now.

This is the TriCaster 40, which will run you around $5,000, and do some really awesome things. We unboxed a new one, and Kien Tran, our audio-video engineer, took us through some of its features. We’ll be using it for our live coverage of PhotoPlus Expo, October 25 – 27.
