No More North American IP addresses!

October 1, 2015 by John P.

John P. is back with some news! He learns you about Amazon’s new Uber-like Flex Delivery Service, a gigantic 360 photo, and IP addresses.

——

Amazon Flex is a new service that basically lets anyone become a delivery driver! They’re claiming drivers can make $18 to $25 per hour, set their own schedule and make as many or few deliveries as they want – seven days a week.

North America is out of new IP version 4 addresses. They’ve been claiming this was coming for so long that it’s no surprise, but ARIN has finally assigned the last of its free pool of fresh IPv4 addresses.

There’s a new and completely amazing 360 degree image taken at a Patriots game that clearly lets you zoom in and see all 68,756 people who were in attendance at the game that day! These are essentially 20 gigapixel images, which require stitching together hundreds of photos taken by a single photographer.
