Min-Liang Tan of Razer wants all left-handed gamers to stand united. Razer produces the world’s only left-handed gaming mouse, the DeathAdder. That hasn’t kept some gamers from wanting more though. There have been calls for a left-handed version of the popular Naga gaming mouse.
The problem is that only 1 in 10 people in the world are born left-handed, which means the smart money is always on producing products for the majority right-handers. It’s not fair, but it makes sense; companies often simply can’t afford the expense of developing, manufacturing and selling a second product with only 1/10th the potential market.
That’s where the era of social media can come to the rescue for those southpaws left in the cold. Razer wants to meet the demand for a left-handed Naga, but to justify the cost, they need to know that there’s enough demand. To that end they’re looking for Facebook Likes on this post. If they can get 10,000 likes after the post has been up for a month, they will make the LH Razer Naga.
