Review: Griffin StudioConnect

March 25, 2014 by Philip Nelson

We’ve talked about a lot of portable interface devices, but sometimes you want a permanent solution for your home or studio that you can plug into a really nice sound system, then plug in your iPad and start recording. The Griffin StudioConnect fills that role, letting your iPad be the controller for your recording session while also acting as a 10-watt charging dock for the iPad.

The Griffin StudioConnect retails for $149, but you can get it at Amazon for $100.

Will there be a similar app and hardware for Android. This would be nice with my Samsung Note 10.1 (2014) tablet.
