The HDMX Jam Plus Bluetooth speakers are an affordable ($60) and colorful (comes in 5 color choices) way to liven up a party. If you want to make the party even better you can get two and have stereo sound.
The Jam speakers come in a small reusable plastic jar with a USB cable for charging, but no auxiliary cable. On the top you have the speaker, and on the bottom you have the power switch and the L/R switch as well as the stand-alone “Mono” mode. On the front you have the pause and volume up-down, and on the back you have line-in and a micro USB charging port.
Setting up these speakers was very easy. For one speaker use, I made sure the bottom switch was set to “mono”, turned it on, and my phone found it right away. For the stereo mode, I set each speaker for L and R and turned them on, waited until I heard the steel drums playing (which means both speakers paired together), and connected my phone.
Easy to use
Many colors available
Short battery life
They worked great. There was no noticeable delay between the speakers when using the stereo mode and they paired up quite easily with my Galaxy Tab. The battery will last for almost 4 hours of uninterrupted play time. You can get these at HDMXaudio.com for $60 and on Amazon.com for $50.
