KEF Q Series
KEF, one of the UK’s premier speaker manufacturers, offers a wide range of speakers that start with the very affordable KHT series, and move right on up to the completely outrageous $200,000 Muons. But pretty much in the middle of their range sits the Q Series.
An entire room full of these speakers can be had for $3,000 – $5,000 depending on if you go with the largest or smaller offerings, and depending on if you need full 7.1 or 5.1 setups. KEF sent us the complete high-end 7.1 setup, and I gave it a thorough test. Here’s what happened…
The Video Review
And now, on to the specifications and prices! Keep in mind that the Q series is available in three colors: black, cherry and walnut. If you order them, make sure you get the matching colors! All of the links below are to the black ones.

Q600C Center Channel

KEF Q600c
The Q600c is the bigger brother of the center channel speakers, and if you go with the Q700 or Q800 mains I would highly recommend the larger center so that you don’t drown it out. However, if you drop down to the Q500s for the left and right, you could also consider the Q200c for the center. Just a slightly smaller version of this bigger brother.

Q300 Bookshelf Speakers
