Review: KEF X300A Speakers

September 4, 2013 by John P.

The KEF X300A speakers are $800 – we should get that out of the way from the beginning. So, are they worth it? If that price didn’t immediately remove them from your consideration, the answer is absolutely! They are a great audio addition to a desktop computer setup. As we spend more time watching videos and getting various kinds of audio content from our computers, the need for really good desk-size speakers becomes apparent.

The X300A speakers are beautifully crafted and engineered, and each speaker has its own power connection, so there are no worries about them being under-powered. They take a direct USB connection, and when you place them on either side of your display, it sounds like the sound is coming right from your screen. You can pick up a pair of these for your own enjoyment at Amazon.
