REVIEW: Scosche reVIVE II – Dual USB Home Charger

October 2, 2011 by Nick Pluim

The Necessary Accessory

The reVIVE II – Dual USB Home Charger is one of many products available in Scosche’s lineup of Apple accessories. Although it may not be “The Necessary Accessory” for everyone, as their tagline says, it will definitely come in handy for many. It is a dual USB charger for the home, with both a 1 Amp and 2.1 Amp USB port. The reVIVE II is perfect for charging an iPad and another USB accessory at the same time. When testing out the unit myself I was able to use my iPad while also charging it. Although it is advertised as a home charger, I have found the reVIVE II to be very useful when traveling. The design is very sturdy and compact, with folding prongs for easy storage.

You can purchase the unit at Amazon for about $18. However, be aware that the reVIVE II is only a charger and does not come with cables to charge your accessories.
