Review: Turn Digital Pages Hands Free with AirTurn

September 26, 2013 by Philip Nelson

As more musicians start using tablets to keep their sheet music handy, an opportunity for ease of use presents itself: What about a device that will take care of the page turning so you don’t have to break from playing? The AirTurn BT-105 is that device, triggering page turns in digital documents via Bluetooth when you step on a foot pedal. There are two pedals, one for forward, one for going back. It’s compatible with iPads, Android tablets, Macs, and PCs, and is available for $120.

SongBook Chord Pro was the app that I was using for this review but the device works with most of the big “lyric and chord” apps.
