Sceptre has released a new 50″ TV set that’s designed to appeal to Roku owners. The Sceptre 50″ X505BV-FMDR features a 50″ panel with an LED backlight. Sceptre says it’s so efficient that it should cost you less than $17 a year in energy costs. The TV is only 4″ thick, making it light and easily wall mountable. There are 3 HDMI ports, one of which is MHL ready for devices like the Roku. Rounding out the feature set is SRS TruSurroundHD-rated speakers.
