SOINN: The Robot Who Could Learn

The Hasegawa lab group at the Tokyo Institute of Techonology has developed a robot capable of learning through their SOINN (Self-Organizing Incremental Neural Network) Artificial Intelligence program.

The video above shows the robot in action, learning to pour water from a bottle into an empty cup and, if desired, cooling it off with a cube of ice.
