Star Command Could Support Steam Workshop

August 2, 2012 by Nathan Gilchrist

We are now down to the final week of the Kickstarter to port Star Command for the PC and Mac, and with that comes stretch goals! Of particular interest is integration with the new Steam Workshop.  Check out this mockup they put together:

This won’t be just community-authored clothing changes for the crew, but missions as well. We’ve already seen enough character models to know this game will have room for a healthy dose of satire, so missions will no doubt take that and run with it.

Of the stretch goals I’ve seen put forward, this one is modestly set at $125,000, just 25% past its initial funding goal which has already been met. If you’re currently undecided about where to divide your Kickstarter dollars from this month’s budget, this is one to consider.

No thanks. I actually prefer metonyms. Especially in this case when the best that article can suggest for a replacement is a preexisting abbreviation for water closet.
