Steam Greenlights 100 Titles in One Go

August 28, 2013 by Nathan Gilchrist

Steam Greenlight

In a departure from their recent release pace, Steam has just greenlit a full 100 titles all at once, raising the total number of titles that have been given the go-ahead through this budding incubation system by 62%.

The Greenlight process does not immediately make a title available for purchase, but instead grants it the go-ahead to move towards that status from the limbo that many titles have had to wait in.

Not all of these are games, as Steam’s Software section makes it possible for publishers to offer a wider selection through digital distribution.  Included in this batch are a script writing tool, a game authoring tool, and a remote desktop interface with the gamer in mind.

So, without further ado…

The 100
