Griffin Shows Off Survivor Slim for iPad Air

July 24, 2014 by Benjamin J. Roethig

Griffin is trying to show that protection doesn’t have to be bulky with its Survivor Slim case for the iPad Air. The case is smaller and lighter than previous survivor cases, but still meets Military Standard 810F. It’ll offer protection from dust/sand and also a little rain as well. It features a built-in screen protector and even though it’s slim, the case found space for it.

The Survivor Slim will cost you $79.99 and comes in pure black and a black and blue combo (that will protect your iPad from being black and blue).

Griffin Technology Announces Survivor Slim, the Perfect Summer Accessory to Protect Your iPad Air

Survivor Slim provides rugged protection in a sleek, go-anywhere design

Nashville, Tenn. – July 23, 2014 – Summertime is all about shedding those bulky layers so why shouldn’t that apply to your iPad case? Griffin Technology, one of the world’s foremost creators of innovations for everyday life, unveils the newest, slimmed-down member of their Survivor lineup – Survivor Slim for iPad Air. Survivor Slim offers the same drop protection as heavy-duty cases but in a much thinner design, making it the perfect lightweight, everyday case.

“We started with the industry’s best-selling rugged iPad case, Survivor for iPad, slimmed it down and gave it an integrated stand. The result is Survivor Slim for iPad Air which offers users the same trusted drop protection of Survivor, now lighter, slimmer and more convenient than ever,” said Aaron Jones, Survivor Category Manager at Griffin Technology.

Designed to meet or exceed US Department of Defense Standard 810F, Survivor Slim protects your iPad Air without adding extra heft. The flexible button covers protect iPad Air from windblown dust, sand and rain, while the textured silicone edges provide grip and protect against drops and impacts.

Survivor Slim’s touch-through screen shield keeps the iPad’s display scratch-free without interfering with the touchscreen’s sensitivity or visual quality. A built-in kickstand flips open and locks in place to hold an iPad at the perfect angle for surfing the web, watching videos or typing. Survivor Slim fits easily in a backpack or bag, making it a must-have accessory that’s perfect for summer travel and everyday use.

The sleek, protective Survivor Slim for iPad Air is now available in black and black/blue for $79.99 at store.griffintechnology.com/survivor-slim-for-ipad-air. Survive whatever your day throws at you with Griffin’s most durable lineup of cases for smartphones and tablets. Find which Survivor meets your needs at griffintechnology.com/survivor.
