Disa Brings Unified #Messaging! Facebook, WhatsApp, Texting, Oh My!

It’s time to unite! The next big thing to happen since Adium, Trillian, IM+, and so forth. Messaging is still at the tip of the iceberg. Whether it’s a celebrity getting exposed, or the battery life getting sucked dry from chatting with people in so many different apps!

Disa (currently in beta), is an app that brings your text messages, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp together into one place! There will be more services available, but those arguably get used the most today. Simply install the app, connect the accounts, delete the original apps, and your phone should get a well deserved memory boost! BoOM!

Each service functions as the standalone apps would. Facebook Messenger stays in sync with things that were “seen at”. More importantly, NO chat heads! (Amen?) WhatsApp displays when the person was “last seen at”. Texting can have SMS Delivery Reports. Each service can be assigned its own color, ringtone, and LED light color. All services can send/receive pictures and other media. Again, it’s beta. There might be some hiccups!

Now, the sad part. It’s only available for Android at the moment. For iOS users, it’s coming soon. Hopefully this will be a way for all devices to unite and stand proudly with more battery life. Who doesn’t need more of that?

For another boost on unifying more services, also check out the Snowball app.
