Want to try K-Cup style coffee making without buying an entire machine? Those machines can be expensive, and you might have a need for the higher capacity of a regular drip coffeemaker on occasion.
That’s the thinking behind the K-pod, a project on Kickstarter that proposes an insert for a regular coffee maker that uses K-Cups to make your coffee or tea one cup at a time. It even has a dial that allows you to choose how strong you want your brew!
If this looks like the coffee solution you need, back the project on Kickstarter, where you can get one for $24.
UPDATE: The joe pod (formerly the K-pod) has fully funded on Kickstarter, so it will be going on to production. The name was changed due to concerns from “a certain company” with a brand closely tied to the letter K. Although the Kickstarter project has completed, you will soon be able order a joe pod from their new website.
