Vizio was a company that seemed to come from nowhere a few years ago and totally shook up the TV market with high quality, low cost products. Now they’re ready to enter the computer business.
At CES next week, the company will show off five new Windows 7 computer models – two desktops and 3 laptops with an emphasis on slim design.
The two desktop machines are the 24-inch All-in-One PC, and the 27-inch All-in-One PC, and the portable models are the 14-inch Thin + Light Notebook, the 15.6-inch Thin + Light Notebook, and the 15.6-inch Notebook.
No prices have been given, but in an interview with Bloomberg, Vizio’s CTO, Matt McRae said the machines would arrive by June, at “a price that doesn’t seem possible.”
We’ll have more on these new machines early next week when they are officially announced.
